Baby's size: an apple;4 inches long, and 2.5 oz.
What Munchkin is up to (according to Babycenter.com):
She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although her eyelids are still fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but she is forming taste buds. Finally, if you have an ultrasound this week, you may be able to find out whether your baby's a boy or a girl! (Do you know how TEMPTING this is??? I want to start shopping, darnit!)
Symptoms: The headaches seem to have abated. After a week, it dawned on me that they started around the same time that Munchkin decided he/she no longer approved of my morning coffee--when I had eliminated caffeine from my diet. So I started making ice coffee (which goes down a little bit better), and that seems to have done the trick.
Total Weight Gain: 5lbs.
Best moment since last update: Felt wiggles every day for the last 4 days. Becoming more regular and pronounced. This is one of my FAVORITE parts of pregnancy. Tends to occur when I eat or drink something really cold, so now I'm on a mission for cold food items. Which works well with the current heat wave.
Movement: Starting to become more regular.
Food cravings: Mexican (still). Also, pizza. You know, the healthy stuff.
Gender: Stay tuned! Appointment scheduled for July 18th!
What I miss: I'm officially not able to sleep on my stomach anymore, which is a bummer because this is how I sleep best. I still tend to roll into that position at night, but then it becomes too uncomfortable and wakes me up.
What I'm looking forward to: Just over a week until beach week! Woohoo!

I've been out of the bloggy loop for a bit - belated congratulations! And yes, you do seem to be carrying a little higher this time around ... maybe a boy? :)
