Since Mia's started talking, we're regularly amazed by what comes out of her mouth. I wish I had time to write down everything that pops out, but that's not happening, so here's a snapshot of just the last couple days.
(while walking down a path at a local park)
Mia: No aminals.
Mommy: No, there are no animals right now. In a little while, it will start to get dark and sometimes animals come out then. Like deer.
Mia: Uh huh. And ephephants.
Daddy: Mia, I missed you today, can I come have a kiss?
Mia: No. I too busy.
Mia: crying dramatically on the steps about some tragedy
Mommy: ignoring wailing
(Mia walks into the kitchen and grabs her play phone and returns to step)
Mia: Hi, Oma (my mom). I sad. I cwy on steps.

I try to do word posts every now and then because you're right, you never know what's going to come out of their mouths ... and I'm too old already to worry about remembering it for a story in 15 years when she's dating Ty (the boy I intend for her to marry) :) I love that she called her grandma ... don't know about you, but I cease to exist the moment a grandparent enters the room :)
