Here he is, surrounded by all the pieces, giving me the, "What did I get myself into?" look:

Unfortunately, it is a false start. We're missing a few of the hardware pieces, and the company warehouse is closed till Monday (or Tuesday since it's a holiday weekend), so we won't be able to get the pieces we need for awhile. I'm a little bummed, but what can you do?
Not to be deterred from his task, Daddy-to-be has decided that he will put the drawers together tonight, even if he can't do the frame.

Also, notice the sweatshirt in the pictures. This is one of my least favorite articles of clothing he owns, mostly because I don't like green, and it's just not as soft as the other sweatshirts in the closet. However, several Christmases ago, Kevin rescued for me a Christmas gift that I had accidentally mixed in with the trash and thrown in the dumpster. He wore that sweatshirt going dumpster diving, and, well, I can't very well ban it from the house after that, can I? So this sweatshirt is lovingly known as the "hero sweatshirt" and he wears it when he's doing hero-like tasks.
And the last picture? This is Scarlett, our fearless helper. Who is hiding under the office chair. She doesn't like all this fuss in her house, but she's too much of a scaredy-cat to do anything about it.

I kinda think the fact that it's been in a dumpster is even MORE of a reason why it should be banned, but maybe that's just me!
