The Faces of J

During yesterday's naptime playtime, Kevin got out his super-fast-and-able-to-catch-fleeting-infant-expressions camera, and we managed to get a few shots.

Almost, but not quite... wait for it....

...TADA!  Ladies and gentlemen, the first smile caught on camera.

Followed by this...

Yep, buddy, we were surprised it happened, too.

You know what else surprised me?  Not waking up last night until 5:00 this morning.

Hallelujah!

Of course, that was after very little napping the day before, so I'm not holding my breath yet. 

I've learned.
