Happy Birthday to You!

Kevin celebrated a "milestone" birthday on Tuesday.

This past weekend, we snuck away for 24 hours while Mia stayed with my parents, so Tuesday's actual celebration was pretty low-key. Kevin had a regular work day, but Mia and I made chocolate-caramel cupcakes, complete with sprinkles, at the assistant's insistence. Once Kevin got home, he played with her while I made a steak dinner. After dinner, Mia very proudly brought him his cupcakes and sang "Happy Birthday."
