Next appointment is on October 31st at 35 weeks and some-odd days. From there on out, it will be every week until Baby Boy decides to make his appearance!
But for now...
Baby's size: a pineapple; just over 17 inches inches (head to heel) and a little over4lbs.
What Munchkin is up to (according to Babycenter):
He's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening. The bones in his skull aren't fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for him to fit through the birth canal. These bones don't entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as his brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood.
Symptoms: Nothing out of the norm for this stage. Tired, sore, achy, heartburn ... everything you're supposed to feel at 33 weeks. My right knee also must be out of whack, because for the last several days, it pops every time I go up a stair. No pain, and not a loud popping, but annoying (like, nails on a chalkboard annoying) nonetheless. BUT!! I finally think I kicked that head/chest congestion that I've been dealing with for the last 2 weeks. So, in comparison, I feel great!
Total Weight Gain: 25 lbs
Best moment since last update: We're finally making progress on getting the nursery put together and it's starting to look like "home." This past week, I finished the window treatments, which joined the already completed bed skirt. This morning (with Mia's "help"), I sorted through all the clothes, both the gender-neutral I have from Mia, and the new things that we've bought over the last several months, washed, folded, and put them away. So now we have a better idea of what exactly we still need in terms of clothing. I also completed one of the four bumper pads, and hope to get the other three completed this week. That, and a blanket (which will be the simplest project of all), is the only sewing I have left to do.
Movement: Lots of stretching and poking. If I'm wearing something fitting, alot of his movement is visible through my clothing. We're moving into the period of uncomfortable movement, as he's constantly jabbing me with arms, feet, elbows, and knees. Also, he apparently likes the same position Mia did because, like his sister, he also tucks his rounded rear up on my right side. Which means my bellybutton has been off-center for weeks.
Food cravings: Eh. Nothing in particular this week.
Gender: BOY!
What I miss: If I say "sleeping" does that sound redundant? Whatever. I miss my sleep. I don't think I'll be getting any for awhile, though, so may as well get used to it now.
What I'm looking forward to: Finishing the nursery bedding! Alot of love has gone into this project, but I'm tiring at looking at this material. Eesh!

Congrats mama! I haven't been by in such a long time (since the UBP I think) but I am so happy to see what you've got going on! I'll do my best to stop by more often but feel free to swing by and remind me from time to time.
