What Munchkin is up to (according to Babycenter):
His muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain. To meet his increasing nutritional demands, you'll need plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron. And because his bones are soaking up lots of calcium, be sure to drink your milk (or find another good source of calcium, such as cheese, yogurt, or enriched orange juice). This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in your baby's hardening skeleton each day.
Symptoms: Mostly just feeling tired and heavy. Constantly hungry.
Total Weight Gain: 23 lbs (did I mention "constantly hungry"??)
Best moment since last update: We did our hospital tour and I'm happy with the choice we made. The maternity ward for this hospital is fairly new and everything was upgraded when the building was constructed. All private rooms, breastfeeding-friendly, complete with lactation consultants, encouraging of rooming in, welcoming to visitors, and a level II NICU, just in case it were needed. I left feeling equal parts excited and nervous.
Movement: Yup. He seems to have moved up higher this week. Some appendage is almost permanently lodged in my ribs, making it difficult to lean forward, or do anything other walk or sit perfectly upright.
Food cravings: Still on a fruit kick, though the last couple days I've been wanting a big ol' piece of cake, too.
Gender: BOY!
What I miss: Nothing much, right now. I had one night of horrible insomnia this week, but otherwise I've slept well. Feeling really emotional right now, so maybe I miss feeling "normal"?
What I'm looking forward to: Some furniture we bought for the basement playroom arrived this week, so once that is set up we can start organizing that area to include the infant toys/products. Just one more step towards preparing the house for a family of four.

(If you look closer, you can see the turkey popper announcing that we're headed towards the finish line...and yet there's 11 weeks to go!)
