She Sings, Too!

This post is mostly for the grandparents and family members, since I'm not sure how many other people would consider this "singing."

Having said that, one of Mia's new favorite activities is to sing. She's actually learning and will sing some of the words to a few, including "Down By the Bay" and "Jesus Loves Me". But honestly, she'll sing along to everything that has a tune.

This afternoon, she woke up suddenly and loudly from her afternoon nap (nightmare?), and was fussy and clingy. After trying multiple methods of soothing and/or diversion, I popped in the Thomas The Tank Engine DVD, which includes to sing-along songs.

We were fortunate that Kevin came home from work early and happened to walk in the door at just that time, so we can present to you, Mia's singing debut!
