Maybe I should write a lil' something instead of just posting pictures, what do you think?
We have little funny moments every day that are worth recording, but by the time the end of the day rolls around, I'm just too freakin' tired.
I could write about how Mia now knows the names of her friends and loves to identify each one by name while looking at the pictures posted on our fridge.
I could write about how she parrots everything you say, and how quickly her vocabulary is building. Her speech regularly includes 3, 4 or 5 word sentences now.
I could write about how we keep getting a little taste of spring...and then fall back into a cold, wet, weather pattern.
I could write about how I celebrated another birthday (my 29th) and how it was composed of a morning off to shop all by myself while my parents watched Mia (thank you!), followed by a huge dinner and birthday cake that I didn't have to make when Kevin got home from work.
I could write about how Mia turns TWO next week and how this birthday is much more emotional for me than her first. (Actually, I probably will write about this...but later)
I could write about how fortunate we are that Kevin's company takes such good care of its employees, especially when we're facing a government shutdown.
I could write about how I'm getting to meet new people and experience some new creative opportunities since starting to write over here.
I could write about how we discovered while taking an after-dinner stroll through the mall last night that Mia is terrified of the Easter Bunny. Even if the Easter Bunny is 10 feet away, behind an enclosure, and Mia herself is strapped securely into her stroller. I have no video proof, but her reaction was simultaneously heart-breaking and hysterical.
So I could write about all that. You know. If I had the time.
