(Not Quite) WW-Bargain Edition

Meet my lovely new dresser, which took three Pier 1 stores, two late nights, a borrowed truck, and a good friend (Thanks, Mitch!) to acquire. It is replacing a Walmart dresser that once belonged to my grandparents, then my parents, then us, when we moved into our first place 5 years ago. That dresser did not survive this last move. Which is fine, because I was all too happy to replace it with this:

Purty, right? It was a clearance item, the last of a series that Pier 1 is no longer manufacturing. Which means we got a great deal, even if Kevin did have to drive all over town to secure it.

See the runner on top? Apparently, nobody buys runners except during the holidays. I had a really difficult finding one that wasn't fall colors. I stopped in at Tuesday Morning today because it is right next door to the grocery store. And there it was, amidst all the fall colored runners, one that matches exactly the colors used in our bedroom:
