Nester Christmas Tour of Homes (narration by Mia)

Welcome to our home! Come on in!

I'm so excited that you're here! Mama and Daddy are busy, busy, busy, so I'll be showing you around today.

Are you ready? Follow me!

This is the mantle in our den. The silver candlesticks on the left are from my great-grandma's house. There's a picture of me up there, too. There seem to be pictures of me all over the place!

This tree and drummer boy are also from my great-grandma's house. Daddy says that when these ornaments come out, you know that Christmas is really coming.

These German smokers are Mama's. They look like they would be fun to play with, Mama says they're not toys.

These two items are new this year and they don't have a home yet. The tree is an Advent calendar and when I'm older, I'll be able to help open the drawers. Not yet, though. Mama has set it where I can't reach it.

This is our other Advent calendar. My Omama made it for my Mama when she was little. It's in good shape, don't you think?

This is our advent wreath on the dining room table.

This tree is also in our dining room. My grandma and grandpa have one just like it and when Mama and Daddy got married, they got one too.

This is the tree in our living room. In the past, Mama and Daddy have always had a fancy tree and a memory tree. This year, they decided not to put up the fancy tree. I wonder why?

My Mama bought this ornament last year.

Mama gave this ornament to Daddy the first year they were married.

Mama's friend gave her this ornament this year.

The Dickens Village is also in the living room, way up where I can't reach it. Most of these pieces came from my great-grandma's house.

This is Mama and Daddy's nativity. Mama says Advent is about preparation and so Baby Jesus doesn't go in until Christmas morning.

Follow me up the stairs! I have one more room to show you.

This is my room! My Oma and Opa brought a special tree just for me. It has lots of pink and silver ornaments on it.
This nativity belonged to my Mama when she was little. Now she's given it to me.

It's past my bedtime. Thank you for coming by! Stop in and see us again!
Oh!
Wait!
Mama says I'm supposed to remind you to stop by and see some other beautiful homes at the Nesting Place. You won't be disappointed!
Merry Christmas!
