At one month, you-- are sleeping through the night! Woohoo! This is wonderful. The next step is for Mommy to sleep through the night, too, and not get up to check on you.
- have given Mommy your first smile. I thought I was mistaken at first, but you've done it several times now.
- know both Mommy and Daddy's voices and turn your head when you're being talked to.
- have grown out of your newborn diapers and into size 1s.
- are not a big fan of your swing, but seem happier in your new bouncy chair.
- continue to be fascinated by fans, and leaves blowing in the wind, and light.
- enjoy being in the stroller or going for car rides.
Today was also a big day because my sister and her boyfriend drove down to meet Mia for the first time. Mia was having a sleepy sort of day and pretty much stayed zonked out through the whole thing. I don't think Danielle minded, though.

The weather cooperated and we were able to grill for lunch. We then took Mia on her first Metro ride and went into the city to visit the Museum of Natural History. She slept through most of that, too.
Everybody who meets Baby Mia is constantly telling me, "Oh, she's so tiny!" And I suppose that she technically is. But I've seen such a change in her in the last month that I'm always just a bit surprised, because if she's tiny now, what was she before?
On the other hand, we're still taking pictures like this one from today-
