35 Weeks

5 weeks...that's 35 days... and counting. Not that I'm getting anxious or anything.

If she's on target, Baby Mia weighs between 5 and 5 1/2 pounds, and is about 18 inches long, which is the weight of a honeydew melon.

In reality, I have no idea if this is accurate or not. As of 2 weeks ago, I was externally measuring equal to my due date. But because we haven't had (and won't have) an ultrasound since 19 weeks, there's no real way to know for sure.

She's still moving around, but her movements are not as "vicious" as they were before. More poking, less karate-kicking.

She's wearing me out more, though. I still get around just fine during the day, but getting up in the morning is a little rough. It seems like I'm finding aches in muscles I didn't know existed. Once I walk it out, I'm good for the remainder of the day until around 8pm when the achiness returns. The lethargy from the first trimester has returned, too. I've asked Kevin to take a turn carrying her around for awhile, but he very politely says, "No, thank you."

Wimp. ;)
