We had another doctor's appointment today, and everythings seems to be going as it should. Baby was extremely active again, so much so that the midwife had trouble measuring the heartbeat because every time she found it, he/she would kick or flip and it would be gone again. Finally got a good measure at around 150 bpm (anywhere from 120-160 is normal). My midwife warns me that I should enjoy this time where I can't feel him/her kicking, because she thinks that this baby will be highly active and moving ALL the time.
The 2nd trimester/gender ultrasound is scheduled for November 13th (3 weeks!). Hopefully Baby settles enough to allow us to determine whether to go pink or blue at that appointment!
My instinct still says boy, but the old wives tail says that a heartbeat over 140 is a girl....
