Waterlogged

Now that we've let the proverbial cat out of the bag, the last several days have been wave upon wave of well wishes and questions. My favorite response?

"But we didn't know!"

Hehe.

Well, no. Unless you were an immediate family member, or one other individual I accidentally spilled to because I couldn't keep my mouth shut...no. You didn't know. So don't feel bad, you weren't "out of the loop." There wasn't a loop to be in on.

In somewhat related news....I'm drowning in water. One of the comments the doctor made on Friday was that I needed to increase my water intake. To approximately 2 liters a day. 2 liters!! That's a soda bottle, people! Every day! Kevin finds this humorous, but has also taken it upon himself to make sure it happens. I've taken to carrying around a sports bottle of water that I refill or trade out for another sports bottle throughout the day. As soon as I finish one, Kevin pushes another into my hand. I'm pretty sure there should be a rule that whatever dietary changes I have to make, he has to make them, too. Though in a part of the country that's still recovering from drought conditions this summer, drinking FOUR liters of water every day may actually break some laws. Lucky for him.
