Welcome Summer!

It may not technically be summer yet, but temps in the low 90s (heat index hovering around 100) sure makes it seem like it is! We braved a trip to the playground this morning when it was still only a "cool" 85, and while we only lasted half an hour, it was a good trip out of the house and meant that naptime was a piece of cake. Woohoo!

We ushered in summer with a weekend BBQ at my parents' home in Pennsylvania. There was lots of time outside, friends to play with, strawberries to eat, and sprinklers to enjoy (except Mia didn't... guess she's more of a pool girl).

Happy Memorial Day!

This morning I went back to the doctor's office for my regular prenatal check-up. All still happy and well. Munchkin played hide-and-seek, but the doctor did find a good, strong heartbeat of 170. Our experience with this doctor and practice has been so different than our last experience. I love my doctor and look forward to each appointment. Or maybe I'm more relaxed this time? Maybe a little bit of both? Either way, 14 weeks tomorrow and happily trucking along!
