Deck the Halls!

We had a fun-filled Thanksgiving with both sides of the family. It was the first time we had hosted everybody at our house, and things went more smoothly then I had anticipated. I think I can count this one as a success.


Then at the beginning of the week, Mia and I spent a few days with just my side of the family.


We're back home, the bags are unpacked and the laundry hamper is overflowing. I should have spent tonight tackling said laundry, but instead I started pulling out the Christmas/winter decor. And boy, oh boy, is there alot of it.


I can't wait to unpack it all.


Mia oohs, ahhs, and announces, "look!" at each and every item she pulls from the containers.


It's adorable.


And makes decorating the house a much longer process.


But mostly adorable.


The advent wreath has been assembled, the glitz and glam is starting to emerge.


And so the holiday season begins.
