On Saturday, we drove half an hour outside of town and spent several hours at a pumpkin patch. There were hayrides, and mazes, and farm animals, and tractors. And, of course, there were photo shoots.

What a difference a year makes! Last year we were propping her up against the pumpkins, then Kevin would frantically snap pictures, as I would stand just out of the way to catch her when she slid.
This year? We had a similar scenario, except instead of sliding off, she would climb off and run on to the next great adventure.
I'm thinking next year we'll try duct tape?
I kid.
Sorta.

I can only help and marvel at how quickly little Mia is becoming not so little. It makes me a bit sad, because I know that Joycelen is following in her footsteps.
It's true, isn't it? The good news is, each stage brings new smiles (okay, and challenges) to keep you looking forward to what's next.
