We took advantage of the "not insanely hot" weather this past weekend to take a trip to the zoo. Mia is all about animals and animal sounds, so it was a good time to take this trip. Unfortunately, it was still warm enough that alot of the animals were hiding in shady spots too difficult for her to spot. But nevermind, she had a blast being outside anyway.
We also got in a trip to the pool before Monday returned, and the hot weather with it.
Tomorrow begins September and I'm just itching for fall. Mia and I are doing a Mommy 'n Me tumbling class starting at the end of the month. I've also joined the local moms' group and have an activity scheduled once a week or so with that organization.
We're keeping busy, but it's the fun kind of busy, not the crazy kind of busy, and that's a nice change.
