Our first true sick day.
Not a cold, not just "a little under the weather", but Mia's first truly sick day. It started around midnight last night and she was up just about every hour between midnight and 6am. Low fever, stomach bile and general yuckiness.
When she wasn't sleeping, which was for FIVE HOURS today, she spent the time on the couch with me, looking like this:
Or dozing on my chest, which I don't have pictures of, because I was pinned to the couch.
I have a renewed appreciation for Disney movies. We watched almost 4 hours worth today. Anybody who knows my daughter in real life knows that she's never still for 4 minutes, let alone 4 hours.
I have no idea what she is "sick" from. Could be a delayed reaction to the vaccines on Thursday. Could be a little stomach bug. Could be the 6th tooth that insisted on breaking through the gum TODAY.
Doesn't really matter. She was miserable. Keeping my fingers crossed for a better day tomorrow.
And going to dig up dinner now because sick baby on lap=no dinner for Mommy.
Or bathrom breaks.
I'll have to add that reminder to my parenting manual.
