Almost spring

It's hard to articulate how many directions I feel pulled in right now.



I'm 3 weeks from finishing my internship and will be relieved to have accomplished that goal and officially finish my Masters degree. But sad to leave the library staff I'm working with two days a week and the kids who are just getting to know and recognize me.



I'm applying for positions for the fall. But sad at the thought of being a working mommy and (not so) secretly hoping I won't have to.



I'm taking my licensing exam tomorrow and confident about the big picture information. But worried about those random minute detail questions they throw in just to make things interesting.



I'm thinking about our move this summer and small changes I want to make (nursery to toddler room). But with no income nailed down yet, unable to really plan for spaces.



I'm hopeful about an opportunity that Kevin seems to have almost in his hand. But wary of feeling too optimistic or sharing too much, just in case it doesn't pan out.



And yet.



Hints of spring are popping up. Warmer days. Flowers budding in the front garden. More daylight. I'm continually reminding myself to go one week at a time and before I know it, several weeks have passed.



So here's hoping I'll be able to look back on this post in another month and breathe a sigh of relief.


Whatever happens... we're definitely going places.
