Sarah at G.I. Joe's Wife has passed a little cyber-love my way. This is nice not only because it's always nice to get a little "gift", but also because it provides me with a little blogging material, something I seem to be lacking this week. Thanks, Sarah!
So. The rules:
1. Thank and link to the person that gave you the award.
1. Thank and link to the person that gave you the award.
2. Pass this award on to 15 bloggers you’ve recently discovered and whom you think are fantastic.
3. Contact said Blogs and let them know they've won.
4. State 7 things about yourself
1. Kristie at Our Guided Steps because her photos are lovely and her adventures are never-ending
2. Sidnie at green enough for me
3. Rachel at A Southern Fairytale because her recipes are to die for!
4. Michaela at Mama Michie's Musings because her cutie pie son will make you smile.
For those of you who are counting, that's only five, I know. But those of you who know what our real life is like also know that the only time I have to blog is during naptimes, and right now that time is also taken up by schoolwork, submitting resumes, more schoolwork, frantic housecleaning for the next prospective renters, job hunting, and then some more schoolwork mixed in to make thing interesting.
It's a little chaotic.
You'll have to forgive me, and trust me that these 5 are worth checking out.
Now. 7 things. Hmm...
1. I don't like the dark. I have to leave a light on in the house when we're going to be gone past sunset because it makes me nervous to come back to a dark house.
2. I have a slightly irrational fear of crickets and grasshoppers. I'm pretty good with bugs (if you call throwing a shoe at them from a safe distance away "good"), but crickets and grasshoppers cause me to break out in a cold sweat.
3. I think feet are disgusting, mine included. I'm sorry if you think yours are not, it probably won't change my opinion. The only possible exceptions are baby feet, and eventually they grow into adult feet and the same rule applies.
4. I could live off of ice cream, pizza, and Mountain Dew for a week and never get bored. I don't. But I could.
5. I love to shop, but not for myself.
6. I am happiest barefoot. Which is ironic, considering #3. As soon as it's warm enough, I live in flipflops.
7. I am generally a happy and optimistic person, but when I swing the other way, it tends to be extreme. I can be a little bit emotional. But if you accuse me of that?
I'll cry.

1, 2, and 6...I totally agree! Especially #6. Shoes are off as soon as I walk in the door. Sometimes I get rid of the socks too, if I'm not wearing flip flops. I would wear them year-round if my feet wouldn't freeze. I guess it's a good thing that the Army is sending us to Hawaii! =D
1, 3, 5, 6... I'm so with you on those!! I hate feet, but am almost always barefoot here at home, even when it's freezing out. Thank you for the award!!
