"Thank you, God, for yummy chili."
After an afternoon playdate with new friends Eric (4 months) and Sylvia (10 months), we went to a chili-cookoff fundraiser at the church. Don't be fooled, Mia was not in the best of moods. Maybe she was jealous that she only got pumpkin while everybody else helped themselves to salad, cornbread, and a dozen different types of chili?
She loved the youth band, though. If she could have clapped along, she would have.
