On Sunday, June 28, 2009, our daughter Maria Theresa was baptized. In baptism, God writes His name on us just as children write their names on favorite belongings. Wherever we go in the world from that moment, we go with God's name on us. It is impossible to escape the love of God.
Following the baptism, we hosted 27 people in our home for a reception. Most of these were also at our wedding. We are blessed that our daughter grows up surrounded by love in this world and beyond.
