Father's Day

Happy (belated) Father's Day!

We had a good Sunday here. Mia gave Daddy a picture book for the two of them to read together. I gave Kevin a gift certificate to a photography safari. Mia and I together took a foot imprint and framed it with a picture of a newborn Mia. We also went out to breakfast, but unfortunately, Mia was having a fussy morning and was only happy if she was being held and fed her bottle, which meant that I paid $15 for a small cup of soup and half a side salad. Oh well.

And now the race is on to Mia's baptism this Sunday. Kevin's parents are coming into town on Wednesday, my mom is arriving on Saturday. The baptism is Sunday morning, and then we're hosting a celebration at our house afterwards. Which means lots to do this week. I still haven't put together a menu and our yard needs some clean-up work. On top of that is my grad school class, Kevin's grad school class, and work for Kevin until Thursday. I need Mia to take some good naps this week so I can get things done. Sunday will be fun, though!
