Last night we went shopping, again. We knew that after Christmas it was time to start a baby registry. We were looking for things to put on it, but instead of writing things down to later put on a registry, we decided to go ahead and start one last night. We have no idea what should go on it. Baby registries are harder to make than wedding registries. But here's our attempt.
Baby Registry
What did we miss? What "can't live without" thing should we add to our registry?

You'll want extra mattress pads for that first middle o' the night sheet change.
For the same reason, you might want an extra plain bumper pad [babies 'r us brand is just fine and easy to wash].
Perhaps a baby monitor? Ours has been in continuous service for 5 years and doing great [it's even more fun to listen in now that they're talking about Santa and tea parties].
Check to see if your high chair was part of a recent recall. It sounds familiar. Try the consumer products safety commission first.
A glider/rocker?
Bottles and nursing paraphernalia. If you opt for "Avent" brand, they are interchangeable and convertible up through toddler years. [Also still in service as water sippy travel cups].
Don't neglect the things you'll need at first teething/feeding. I got only newborn/infant stuff and feeding things came up sooner than I expected.
A Baby Bjorn or Snuggli?
You have a very good start!
I should have had Kevin note, when he put up that post, that there are some things that we already have, that are not on the registry for that reason, such as the baby monitor and Baby Bjorn. Both of those were bought for us by a very enthusiastic Oma (Grandma). We also have all the furniture taken care of, except for the glider/rocker. I'm still searching there, because I can't find quite what I want. It's out there somewhere!
I'll checkthe high chair, thanks!
